When we travel abroad, we mostly rely on English. But it doesn't always help. That's when we start communicating with hands, facial expressions, pantomime and, above all, a lot of good will. And it's in situations like these, in which we have a hard time understanding each other, that some pretty funny moments arise. And these were the inspiration for the Bridges theatre project, in which improvisers from different countries explore on stage what happens when words aren't enough.
