Calling all improvisers and theatre professionals: applications to Bridges Academy are now open!

Ready to level up your craft in an international ensemble? We are looking for 32 participants (8 from each participating country) to join us in Tinje, Austria, in early September 2026 to train on the themes of the Bridges Project: how theatrical improvisation can become a universal mode of communication between performers and audiences from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Whether you’re a professional improviser / actor / actress or a semi-professional with a serious mindset, this is your chance to explore language and improvisation in an exciting international setting.

By submitting this form I, the undersigned, confirm that I have read and understood the Information Letter and I know and accept the conditions of participation. Please take note of the following conditions that will apply:

1. I commit myself to participate in the whole process, including: to prepare myself carefully for the course and to do all remote preparation work the team will ask for, to take part in the full duration of the course; to participate in the whole evaluation process (travelling days are 1 day before and after the training course.)

2. I am aware that obtaining a health and a full travel insurance are my own responsibility and at my own expenses. I understand that the information I provided does not remove my own personal responsibility for ensuring my own health. I am responsible for the cost of traveling to the course and organizing it.

I declare that I will pay my share of the costs of participating in the academy (EUR 80) to my sending organization, and that I will not be able to participate in the course if I fail to do so. I understand that if I leave the course before the end of the entire course of my own accord, the fees paid will not be refundable.
