Show Review: a joyful patchwork of connection

January 2026, Paris

Je n'ai pas vu le temps passer. Le spectacle est un joyeux patchwork de scènes où malgré la

barrière de la langue, la complicité évidente des comédiens donne naissance à des moments

souvent drôles, tantôt absurdes, parfois poétiques (mention spéciale à la dégustation de glace

dans un opéra). La scène du traducteur m’a particulièrement marqué ! Un "soufleur" se glisse juste derrière un des comédiens qui joue un expert sur une thématique suggéré par le public.

Très drôle de voir un comédien slovène devoir expliquer en français les secrets du bonheur. La

promesse du spectacle: "faire un spectacle multilingues" est un sacré challenge. Je ne savais pas du tout ce que j'allais voir mais le spectacle BRIDGES l'anticipe avec brillo et nous embarque dès les premières minutes. Bravo !

I didn’t notice the time passing. The show is a joyful patchwork of scenes where, despite the

language barrier, the obvious rapport between the performers gives rise to moments that are

often funny, sometimes absurd, and occasionally poetic (special mention to the ice cream

tasting in an opera). The translator scene particularly struck me! A “prompter” slips in just

behind one of the actors, who plays an expert on a topic suggested by the audience. It was very

funny to see a Slovenian actor having to explain the secrets of happiness in French. The show’s

promise – “to create a multilingual show” – is quite a challenge. I had no idea at all what I was

going to see, but the show BRIDGES brilliantly delivers and draws us in from the very first

minutes. Bravo!
